This thread is for updates and details on the upcoming 161 soda fountain.
If only I had some updates... _________________ --Todd |

You've been talking about this for years, are you making any progress, or is it more 161 labs vaporware? |

Well I now have a much better concept of what is needed and it shouldn't really be too difficult or expensive. I just gotta keep an eye on E-bay and snag the parts as they are available. My target date is the end of the summer, but I'm sure it will slip. _________________ --Todd |

An update:
I'm close to having this project off the vaporware list. We actually have physical components for the system in the apartment, including 15 gallons of soda syrup and a CO2 tank
Although the concept of putting it all together could still end up being vaporware, this is unlikely. _________________ --Todd

It's going in writing. I'm waiting for the explosion one day, and for the CO2 canister to go shooting across the room and nail one of you in the chest... |

Believe it or not, the soda system is no longer vaporware. Soda is flowing freely at the 161! Still needs some tweaking, but it works.
For those who don't believe, here are pictures for proof.
